International Juried Photography Contest and Show, 2011

Entries for the 2011 Images from a Glass Eye have closed.

The photographer’s eye is constantly searching for unforgettable images that leave emotional imprints lingering in the mind. They may come unexpectedly or they may be the result of careful and thoughtful planning. But in the hands of an inspired artist, the camera’s glass eye captures more than the visible–it captures the invisible. It captures what is seen by the photographer’s mind’s eye and shares that vision with the viewer.

The 2011 Images from a Glass Eye show runs August 26th through October 28th at the Big Picture in Red Bluff, California. The show is sponsored by the Tehama County Photo Club with the hope of bringing inspired images from around the world together in a small and charming northern California town.

The Images from a Glass Eye show will start August 26th with the Award Reception.  You can see the 30 finalists works of Art at The Big Picture, 857 Washington Street, Red Bluff, Ca.  (530) 527-3369.  The winning photographs will be identified with ribbons.  The show will be running through to October 28th, 2011.  Many of the photographs will be for sale so get in there early to be able to see them all.

Special thanks to The Big Picture, Tehama County Arts Council, Tehama County Photo Club, The Silverman (Our Judges) and the many photographers who let us see the world through their eyes.  Also, thank you Bob Grace, Barbara Luzzadder and Bob McConnell for serving on the Glass Eye Committee.
